Young CGA gymnasts make a difference

Nine young gymnasts and one mother from Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy donated their hair to Pantene Beautiful Lengths (think "Locks of Love"). According to CGA's website, "Pantene Beautiful Lengths is committed to providing free, real-hair wigs to women with cancer."

From the looks of the information on the website, it appears as though this program was open, so nine girls and a mom doesn't sound like many people. But I think it's terrific that the kids are being taught to think outside of themselves and to do what they can to make a difference. A whole person is one who understand his or her potential impact on others, and I'm pleased to see CGA participating in this program. And it's not a religious thing, so that's good, too.
